The statue of liberty, Bahria Town Islamabad has been turned into Churail Chowk by Pakistanis.

The Real Story Behind Churail Chowk

Bahria town management has constructed two statues in Bahria town. Lahore, Bahria Town, has one. The other one is located in Phase 8 of Bahria town Islamabad. Both of them were made to symbolize freedom as its original version was made for this purpose.

Islamabad’s statue is now being called Churail chowk. This replica is a great tourist attraction in Pakistan. But many local people don’t even know why this statue is constructed. As far as Pakistanis are concerned, it is a statue that looks like a ghost.

So they named the chowk “ghost chowk”. This name has made Churail chowk more popular among people. News about this funny chowk is now trending on social media. People are making memes and jokes about the statue.

Shaitan chowk or Churail Chowk

Some people are calling this Shaitan chowk(Devil’s chowk). I can’t stop laughing. These people are really rare people on the planet. They are trolling and making memes on this Chowk. Everyone is sharing this joyous.
